New Delhi: Actor Song Jae Rim died on Tuesday at the age of 39. Seoul’s Seongdong Police Station confirmed that the actor was found dead in his apartment in the Seongdong district. According to a report by Korean news portal Soompi, a two-page letter was reportedly found at the scene. While the exact cause of his death is yet to be confirmed, police officials have said that there are no signs of foul play at the moment. Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim made his acting debut in the 2009 film Actresses and gained wide recognition for his role in the 2012 drama The Moon Embracing the Sun. He has appeared in several notable television dramas, including Flower Boy Ramen Shop, Inspiring Generation, Two Weeks, Goodbye Mr Black, Bad Girls, Our Gap-soon, Surfing House, Let Me Hear Your Song, and Queen Woo. His film credits include Grand Prix, The Suspect, Crazy Love, Yacha, Bait and Plop: A Man Who Lost His Business.

About Song Jae Rim
Song began his career as a runway model, working with major designers such as Jun. J, Herrin Homme and Ha Sang Byung-hee. He also featured in prestigious magazines such as Bazaar Korea, Vogue Girl Korea and GQ Korea. Moving to acting in 2009, Song gained recognition for his roles in television dramas, including Clean with Passion for Now (2018), I Wanna Hear Your Song (2019). He appeared in the fourth season of We Got Married alongside Kim So-eun, which boosted his popularity significantly.
