The over 1.30-minute long video also hints at the return of Divyenndu, who played Munna Tripathi in the web series. His character was killed in the second season.

Produced by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmeet Singh, Mirzapur movie is set to release in 2026. It will see the return of Pankaj (Kaaleen Bhaiya), Ali Fazal (Guddu Pandit) and Divyenndu (Munna), along with Abhishek Banerjee, who plays the compounder in the series. After a nationwide theatrical release, the film will be available for streaming for Prime members in India and more than 240 countries and territories eight weeks after its release.
